To God alone be the glory who has granted me the opportunity to share this on this platform. I believe it will be a blessing to someone. My Pastor used to say that some information may not necessarily be for you or for something you need right now, it may be for the future. You may also use it to help someone. I pray that this will help someone and set such one free in Jesus’ name. Amen.

MY STORY
I was sexually abused by our house maid when I was still a child. I can’t remember vividly the whole episode but I know she did something to me. I guess that was the foundation to my struggle. Through friends, I engaged in porn magazines and other sexual activities. I remember engaging a lot in sexual sin with our house maid. This was after I had grown up and was in Secondary school. I was having sex with her almost every day with no one knowing. When I gave my life to Christ, I was not better off, because I was still struggling with fornication. I remember fasting 100 days to be delivered from this monster called sexual sin. I was attending all meetings and all crusades just to be free from this terrible sin of fornication. At a point I had to stop going to church because I was tired of religion. I made many promises to God and made resolutions but to no avail. I remember praying one day that if I ever did it again, God should make me impotent but thank God, God did not answer because I still failed Him after that.
I am sharing this story for two reasons; to encourage someone out there that there is hope for you especially someone who is struggling with sexual sin and you probably have tried all you could but still can’t be free. I will encourage you not to lose hope. Hang on there and let me share a few thoughts with you. If God can deliver me and give me a brand new life then there is hope for you. God cleansed me from this plague, gave me beautiful wife, and wonderful children. If I did not tell you, you would not know I had such a past. There is no trace of it in my life or family, to God alone be the glory.
The second reason I am sharing this with you is because of what Paul the apostle wrote:
Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes! He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (Good New Bible)
I want to share with you the same help I have received from God, trusting God that the same God that has helped me will help you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
